English Language Learners

The Central Okanagan School District welcomes students from all over the world. Our schools are committed to creating a safe, caring and academically challenging environment for your child, whether they are a beginner or a more advanced English Language Learner. Our qualified teachers provide direct and indirect instructional support, depending on the proficiency level and unique needs of each student. We focus on helping all students develop their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills, as well as strategies for social and academic success.
